Place Your Christmas Tree in a Prime Location for All to See
Owners of site-built homes often place their Christmas tree near a window in the front of the house so it can be viewed from the street. However, since many mobile homes are placed perpendicularly to the street versus parallel, this isn’t as good of an option.
Instead, find a central location in your home so that you and your visitors can view it no matter where they are in the room.
In the cases of an open floor plan, like this home pictured throughout the article, the tree is perfectly placed in the transitional spaces between areas.
Serve Up Some Holiday Cheer in Your Kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of the home. Let it beat with the spirit of Christmas!
Two easy ways to add decor to the kitchen in your manufactured or mobile home are to swap out your floor mats and hand towels. How cute is this Santa rug?!
If you have space above your cabinets, this is a great place to add collectibles such as Santas, cookie jars, or Nutcrackers.
Is your laundry near your kitchen, or do you have a pantry door? Put up a wreath!
And if you have an island, this is the perfect spot to display holiday-themed serving dishes, chargers, placemats, and more.
Prepare Your Dining Room for Holiday Guests
Whether you will be hosting a large gathering or a small one on Christmas Day, you’ll want to create a space that is welcoming and spirited.
A simple tablecloth in red or green will give your dining room table a festive look. Place a poinsettia in the center or add more decor to give the table vertical interest. If you enjoy crafts, you could also create an inexpensive DIY Christmas arrangement centerpiece.

Give Your Bathroom a Makeover Worthy of the North Pole
